Primary Responsibilities & Requirements:

Operate inspection equipment to perform non-destructive testing and be able interpret the results in magnetic particle (MT), electromagnetic (ET), and ultrasonic (UT). Perform non-destructive tests on tubular products. Calibrates and adjusts ultrasonic test equipment to required standards and settings.

Maintain a high level of safety standards and follow all Safety guidelines.

SNT-TC-1A certification, Level I - required. Level II certification in ET, MT, and UT preferred.

Work Environment:

The job is within a heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the mill. Dependent upon the area you will work in, the environmental conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, greasy, wet, and noisy.

As you also know, the position requires you to work rotating shifts, which will include Saturdays and Sundays. The position also requires you to work overtime as needed.

Additionally, safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/guidelines must be adhered to at all times. NDT Level III in RT & UT required:

Looking for a NDE L3 RT (x-ray) and UT (ultrasonic) candidate with BS degree in engineering. Candidate must be able to develop NDE procedures (XT & UT), write inspection and test plans, design and procure calibration blocks, strong understanding of ASME Section V code as well as API 6A and 17D and current on all certifications, I would like to interview in the next couple of weeks with a offer going out by early-mid Aug.

Candidate would be responsible for coordinating NDE initiatives at the Americas Subsea plant, working alongside resident plant NDE engineers, technicians and weld engineers. I need a candidate that can be put in front of a customer to defend their technique. Candidate must has good written and verbal communication skills. Also must be current on all XT/UT technologies, standards and equipment. Candidate will office in Houston (Clay Rd), but estimate 30-50% travel.
